LSU Football is hitting the recruiting trail hard as the evaluation period rolls. Offensive line coach Brad Davis is seeing yet another key target.
2024 Buda (Tex.) San Marcos offensive tackle Ory Williams is set to take an LSU official visit from June 9-11 and Davis will visit him on Wednesday. Texas is also scheduled to host him June 23 for an official visit.
Georgia is another program expected to get an official visit from Williams. Michigan is lurking as well in the background for him. Florida, Florida State, Oregon, USC, Texas A&M and numerous other have also offered Williams.
According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Williams ranks as the No. 631 overall prospect in the country, No. 42 offensive tackle in the nation and No. 106 prospect in Texas.
Davis already has one 2024 prospect committed in Louisiana offensive lineman Khayree Lee. Williams is just the latest top target to schedule a visit for the summer. Now, the Tigers will get a chance to make their push.
Davis inked one of the best offensive line classes in the country in the 2023 recruiting class. He’s looking to follow that up with another impressive haul.
