On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine: New leader for 4-star LB Jeremiah Beasley

Belleville (Mich.) four-star linebacker Jeremiah Beasley announced a top five of Michigan StateMichiganKentuckyPittsburgh and Tennessee on Dec. 27. One of those programs is now trending for his commitment.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Wolverines have a commanding lead for Beasley’s pledge at 87.8% following an expert prediction from Zach Libby of The Wolverine. Beasley was in Ann Arbor for Michigan’s spring game on April 1, as well as March 21.

“Michigan has shot up the leaderboard for Beasley as new linebackers coach Chris Partridge continues to develop a deep connection with the On300 linebacker over the course of two months,” Libby said. “Making two returns to Ann Arbor in a span of less than two weeks, Beasley was most recently at Michigan’s spring game on Saturday, where he got another first-hand of his potential schematic fit.

“The Wolverines should feel confident on where they stand for Beasley, one of the most prolific sideline-to-sideline defenders in the 2024 class, in the month of April and leading up to June official visits.”

Beasley is the No. 298 overall prospect and No. 33 linebacker in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 6 player in Michigan.

On3 rates Beasley higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 272 overall prospect, No. 22 linebacker and No. 5 player in Michigan.

Michigan is looking to continue its recruiting success this cycle

Michigan’s 2024 recruiting class is No. 5 in the 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 2 in the Big Ten. The Wolverines’ most recent commitment came from Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School four-star quarterback Jadyn Davis.

Landing Beasley would mark a big recruiting win for the Wolverines. Head coach Jim Harbaugh and his staff currently hold one in-state pledge from Harper Woods (Mich.) four-star safety Jacob Oden.

“They have turned it up,” Beasley told On3’s Chad Simmons about Michigan on March 23. “They have just been showing a lot of love to me and telling me and showing me how much they want me. On this visit, I just wanted to get up there to meet Coach Partridge and chop it up with Coach (Steve Clinkscale)… It was my first time meeting coach Partridge and he is a very intelligent person.”

In addition to Beasley, Michigan is hoping to keep Rochester (Mich.) Adams four-star tight end Brady Prieskorn in The Great Lakes State. The RPM gives the Wolverines a 91.2% chance to land Prieskorn.

Michigan also has commanding leads on the RPMs for a few other top targets. They include Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst four-star offensive tackle Andrew Sprague (94.3%) and Frisco (Texas) Reedy four-star interior offensive lineman Max Anderson (94.2%).
